1. About CollegeReality

CollegeReality ("we", "us", the "Service") is a website that helps middle and high school students discover, start, and track scholarship and grant applications. The Service is currently offered free of charge to families served by our volunteer program.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is intended for students, their parents or guardians, and adult mentors. Users under 13 must have a parent or guardian create and supervise their account. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to submit it.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service, its content, or its design.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in a scholarship application.
• Use the Service to harass, harm, or collect information about other users.
• Introduce malware, attempt to bypass security controls, or disrupt the Service.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, logos, layouts, and code that make up the Service are owned by CollegeReality or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

You retain ownership of the information you submit (for example, your application answers). You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that information as needed to operate the Service on your behalf.

6. Scholarship information

We aggregate information about third-party scholarships and grants. We do not award scholarships, and we do not guarantee that any listed opportunity is currently available, accurate, or that you will be selected. Always confirm eligibility and deadlines with the scholarship provider before applying.

7. Fees

The Service is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will give you clear notice before any charges apply and you will have the option to decline.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will produce a particular outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollegeReality and its volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
